My Favorite Gamine Autumn Color

My favorite colors are the Romantic ones! And those are the ones I want to wear as often as I possibly can. :)

But what I am not sure of is how much room for variation there is as we begin to clothe ourselves in our colors. A shade lighter? A shade deeper? Are they allowed? And what about burnt orange? Will that work, too?

These are the questions I am pondering right now as I contemplate my palette.
